Introduction to Nodle Client

The Nodle Client is a powerful and easy-to-use tool for managing your NODL assets. It provides a native UI that improves the experience when connecting your account with different providers, such as PolkadotJS, Talisman, and Ledger (though Ledger support is still under development and is not fully recommended for use).

The Nodle Client:

  • Is also available in Spanish
  • Can connect to both Nodle Testnet and Nodle Mainnet
  • Supports both Dark/Light themes

Components of Nodle Client

  • Connection Module: The very first page you will see is the Connection popup screen, which guides you through the process of connecting your wallet. The connection modal is a simple and wizard-like process that makes it easy to connect your wallet to the Nodle Client. Once you have connected your wallet, you will be able to access all of your NODL assets and manage them using the Nodle Client.
  • Account Page: The Account Overview page provides you with a summary of your account information, including your token balance, account address, and transaction history.
  • NFT Page: The NFT Overview page lists all of the NFTs that you own. Each NFT has a name, description and cover. You can click on an NFT to view more information about it.

Connecting Wallet

Before you connect your wallet to the Nodle Client, ensure that you have a valid wallet.

The instructions below assume that you have either imported or created a wallet already. If not, please refer to the other pages in this documentation.

Follow the steps below to connect your wallet:

  1. Select the method that you want to use to connect your wallet to the Nodle Client. The available methods are Talisman, SubWallet, PolkadotJS, and Ledger.

  7. Once your wallet is connected, you will need to select the account that you want to watch on the Nodle Client.
  8. A list of accounts connected to the wallet is displayed. Select the account that you want to watch by clicking on it. Once you have selected an account, the Nodle Client will display the details, such as name of the account and balance, as shown here.

Viewing Account Details

The Account Overview page provides a summary of your account information, including your balance, account address, and transaction history.

  • The balance section shows you the current balance of your NODL tokens (free, reserved, and locked).
  • The transaction history section shows you a list of all of the transactions that have been made on your account.

Transaction Details

The transaction details popup window provides you with more information about a specific transaction, such as the sender, recipient, amount, and timestamp.

The modal also includes a link to the block explorer, where you can view the transaction on the blockchain. You can use the transaction details modal to troubleshoot any problems with your transactions.
